Aquila Search was founded in 2017 by Geoff Cooper following the completion of a trade sale in 2014 of Geoff’s former business, Calibrate Recruitment Pty Ltd, to Tokyo based en-japan inc (JASDAQ listed). Geoff built Calibrate Recruitment, over a 20 year period, to be a leading recruitment firm providing executive search, mid-career recruitment and temporary staff payrolling services to clients in engineering, construction, manufacturing, industrial & technology sectors across APAC. Geoff has always been a passionate, hands-on executive search recruiter and to achieve sustainable business growth, he built a strong and stable team of managers, team leaders and recruiters with a culture of “taking good care of clients, candidates and staff”. Calibrate had 20 staff across 2 offices and international affiliations with partners in Singapore, China, Hong Kong, UK, South Africa, New Zealand, Canada and the USA.
Aquila Search was formed to provide executive search services leveraging the extensive personal networks of our consultants together with research based market mapping methodologies.
